Pricing is figured by adding the 3 elements of the job
1 Blank garments
2 Set up costs
3 Print charge per garment
Blanks:
Blank garments are priced by color, quality and quantity. Price breaks are given after so many dozen shirts ordered. Dark colors cost more than light or white ones. Most companies offer various ounce weights on their products with the heavier weights costing more. I work with several different suppliers, so we can get the style, color and quantity you want fast...sometimes even the next day.
Set up fees:
Set up cost is $25 per screen. Each color of the design needs its own screen. If you are planning to print on a black shirt, a white base should be applied first so the colors go down smooth and look the way they should. Set up fee covers my time and supplies used to get your stencil ready, it does not mean you own it.
Print charges:
I price a little different than most. Match up the number of colors printed on each shirt to the quantity of shirts to be printed. That number is the print cost per shirt. Now add the set up cost of $25 per screen and the cost of the garment and there you go. If there is printing on several different locations of the shirt, add $0.50 cents per location per shirt.
Example: You want 45 white shirts printed with a small 2 color logo on the front and a large 6 color graphic on the back. That’s 8 colors on the shirt, print cost of $5.20 each. Two locations of printing (front and back) so add $22.50 Set up is 8 screens @ $25 each. Let’s say the blanks themselves cost $1.89 each. Total for the job would be $541.55 Make sense?
I require a 50% deposit up front.

Artwork:
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are the best formats to receive artwork in because I can make small adjustments easily if necessary. If those adjustments require more than 30 minutes time then my design rate becomes $50 per hour. Remember I design for a living and will get you killer results. Make sure your art is at least 300 dpi at the actual print size. All fonts should be rasterized or converted to curves so they look the same on my computer as they do on yours. If you don’t have art ready then I can take it from the top and create it custom for you. I will usually bid a job like that as a set amount rather than hourly.
Other notes:
• Maximum print size for most standard jobs is 13”X13” inches
• I accept cash (my favorite) money order, personal check and paypal
• Turnaround times vary according to my schedule
• I can ship worldwide if needed
What I don’t do:
• Charge for film positives
• Archive screens for a later reprint
• PMS color matching (Although I don’t do exact PMS color matching, I will mix colors and get you something very close)
• Print artwork that doesn’t belong to you
• Waive the deposits
